MEDICARE
With some chronic health conditions, your GP may choose to refer you through an Extended Plan of Care (EPC). With this referral from your GP, your fees may be up to 100% covered by Medicare. Discuss your eligibility for this referral with your doctor.
PRIVATE HEALTH
Most private health insurance funds will provide dietitian rebates on individual consultations. The rebate will depend on your level of cover. Please contact your health fund to see what rebate you will be entitled to. No referral is needed to see us when claiming with private health. You will be provided with an invoice, and receipt upon full payment, with which you can claim your rebate from your private health fund.
DVA (Dept of Veterans Affairs)
Healthspan Nutrition is a provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). There is no charge to patients who hold a Gold or White Card. If you are DVA eligible, please see your GP for a referral before visiting.
NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) & NIISQ
Individuals who self-manage their NDIS plan can refer directly to our service, or may request an appointment via their Support Coordinator. Current fees are $165 per hour + up to 30 minutes travel time. Healthspan Nutrition Dietitians can assist with providing formal meal plans, enteral nutrition [PEG feeds] regimens, End of Plan reporting, education of support workers, as well as weight management, bowel management and chronic disease management.
Initial Consultation – 45 minutes – $165
Telehealth consultations using a Medicare EPC referal may incur a $35 gap fee
Review Consultation [every 2-6 weeks] – 30 minutes – $80

Corporate Services
Our prices start at $260 per hour for basic Powerpoint presentations. Please contact us for further information and pricing to meet your corporate needs
Cancellation Policy
Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without 24 hours’ notice of cancellation will incur a fee of $60 unless we are able to fill your vacancy. Healthspan Nutrition understands in exceptional circumstances, this may not be possible, and will make exceptions at such times.
